Historic architecture, community gardens, event spaces, and LEED-certified buildings define Pilgrim Place.

  • Gardens & Greehnouse

    A greenhouse and garden beds in two gardens are shared by residents for fresh vegetables, flowers, and potted plants.  Community compost bins are located at both gardens and are used by residents and the grounds staff.

  • Abernethy Dining Room

    Delicious noon meals are prepared by chefs who are trained by Unidine Dining Services.

  • Decker Hall

    A meeting hall where lectures, musical programs, weekly films and other events take place.

  • Fitness & Aquatic Center

    Offers a variety of equipment with skilled fitness instructors available for personalized exercise programs. Classes include yoga, line dancing, balance and chair exercises. The pool has a salt-water filtration system and includes a warm-water therapy spa.

  • Napier Center for Creative Change

    LEED renovated and certified resident center includes meeting rooms, social room with kitchen, and resident media and archives rooms.

  • Pendleton Arts & Crafts

    Allocated spaces for weaving, quilting, woodworking, ceramics, painting, pottery, jewelry, needlework, rosemaling, knitting, and stained glass. Many of these items are sold at our annual two-day Festival.

  • Porter Hall & Library

    This iconic building was built in 1930 in memory of Mary Porter, a major influence in the development of Pilgrim Place. It serves as the site of the library, with inviting reading room, community lounge, for relaxing and chatting, and guest rooms.

  • Petterson Museum of Intercultural Art

    The Petterson Museum of Intercultural Art is located on the Pilgrim Place campus and originated as a joint effort between the residents of Pilgrim Place and renowned ceramist and teacher Richard Petterson. Visit us here.
