Pilgrim Place’s Rauch Memory Care Houses offer a secure, nurturing environment specifically designed for individuals living with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. Open to ambulatory persons from both Pilgrim Place and the wider community, the program is rooted in Montessori-inspired elder care, where staff use gentle cues and meaningful activities to help residents thrive. With a “demonstrate more, talk less” approach, trained caregivers support each resident’s unique strengths through activities like reminiscing sessions, music, pet therapy, and regular family visits—creating a calm, familiar, and purposeful home.
