Come and Visit
Pilgrim Place has often been described as a counter cultural community, an odd description perhaps, but not completely inaccurate. What makes the ethos of this community so unique is a notion, widely shared, that it's less important to fuss over what you have, than to focus on who you are and ultimately, to whom you are accountable.
Since you are a person interested in Pilgrim Place, you know that it has been home to thousands of Christian leaders who have served as missionaries, teachers, ministers, denominational executives, and other religious professionals. Serving others is what Pilgrim residents have been called to do. It is what they did in their careers and it’s what they continue to do in “retirement.”
It's alive with opportunities for reflection, spiritual growth, physical activity, and mutual encouragement. In these and many other ways, the community at Pilgrim place inspires creativity and nurtures the volunteer spirit. And, for us, it is especially important that the doors of Pilgrim Place have always been and will be open to those with minimal financial resources to ensure that they have a home and the support they need to live in dignity.
We encourage you to call us at (909) 621-9581 and schedule a visit and tour so that you can experience firsthand the selfless, giving energy this community has to offer.
