Become a Volunteer

Since its founding in 1915, Pilgrim Place has been blessed by the partnership of countless people beyond our gates who believed in, championed, contributed to and celebrated this extraordinary community. Without them, Pilgrim Place would not, could not exist today. With them, we are making a unique witness among senior living communities worldwide. This partnership seems to bring out the best in us all, fueled by a vision of community and respect for shared values. Pilgrim Place encourages and welcomes volunteer support in the following areas:

  1. Pilgrim Place Governance – membership on board of directors, board and advisory committees.

  2. Annual Pilgrim Place Festival – staff one (or more) of the 35 craft/bazaar booths the second Friday and Saturday each November. This year's Festival will be held November 11 and 12, 2011.

  3. Health Services Center – volunteer assistance that complements the services provided by the Center’s nursing and support staff and is designed to provide a loving support to residents.

  4. Petterson Museum of Intercultural Art – explore and learn more about arts and crafts from around the world and further an intelligent awareness of other cultures.
